Lissopark (The Woodland Park)
The Wooldland Park is a natural wood to the North of the Gorky Park which occupies an area of 2,000he. It used to be a summer residence of Kharkiv Diocese — the Pomerki and the Sokolniki Park. In the late 20th century, the Memorial of Glory was opened in the Woodland Park to commemorate those killed in World War II. The Memorial to the Victims of Totalitarianism was opened in 2000. This is a final resting place of 4,500 Polish officers and about 2,500 Soviet citizens.
